Welcome and congrats on the Tbird. Plenty of info here, you just need to be patient with the search function.

Best way to ad photos is to upload to your album first then publish from there.

Howdy all, new on here, just purchased a 2010 1600 Tbird. I live in Western Australia. 63 years of age, been riding since I was 18. Also own a 2011 speedmaster and a 2000 Ducati 750 monster. Tbird is the new go to of course lol.

Hey Greenbushy, welcome and hope you can get a pic up soon, look forward to seeing it.

Took me a while to figure out how to upload 1st time, ask away if you get stuck

Good stuff, were you a member here with the Storm?

We need new blood, the old forum is struggling these days but you will find a wealth of info here, far better than asking Face Book questions and getting twenty different opinions.

It seems many new owners come here, ask a few questions and then evaporate

Good morning gentlemen: It's been awhile now since I last posted on this site and got thinking about you guys this morning .So I thought I'd drop in to say hello and hope I'm not disrupting anything.Obviously,I'm still alive and still riding my Indian which now has alittle over 82000 miles on it.I see a lot new names on here, but also some old names. And I also see that this site is doing very well. So,with that said,I'll move on now and allow you gentlemen to talk about me "once again"!! So please carry on gentlemen and take care!! Dave!!!

I tried to respond to your question, but the site wouldn't let me back in after I finished my response ,hence I lost the whole post! So,in a shorter version, the answer is yes and no.The radial tires that came on that bike were the biggest reason I traded it because it was getting expensive, and as I'm sure you know,I did and still do,all my own work.If it wasn't for them,I'd probably still be riding it!! Dave!!!

Are you still in MASS?
Hope those tires are studded.

Metzelers we're the first things to go.
All good ever since.

Affirmative! I have now lived in the same place for the past 71 years, taking over the property when I was 18 years old because my folks could not handle it anymore. And yes again: We do have quite a bit of snow here over the winter months,so,naturally, riding the bike really wasn't an option ,yet, I still rode it every single day, rain, shine,or snow to travel 20 miles one way, every day, back and forth to work for over 35 years, which was when I finally retired, and that was 22 years ago.I am now 77,and still riding and still enjoying every minute of it. Dave!!!

Nice to see you post again Dave. Some new faces but it appears that many only join to sort out a problem and then don't return to add to the input, some don't even report if the problem was fixed with our help, the way of the information world now I guess. Both my bikes are doing well, still ridden each once a week and to Flockings. The old Honda still sits next to the pool table, I must move it to the shed and start it up, been a long time.

I got a Rocket iii Touring back last February and 2010 Thunderbird in July. Love these bikes! The Thunderbird is my daily rider. My wife hated it, mainly because the small back seat. Upgraded it to a mustang, now it's my wife's favorite bike lol. How's the Bonneville? Never been on one, but I really want to. Closest thing to one I've been on is my Uncles 71 Honda 350 (back when Honda was imitating the Bonnies) loved that little bike.

Well, I am back. I had a 2011 Storm for 7 years and traded it for a Harley. But that bike is gone and I just picked up a Nightstorm with 9200kms. Can't wait to get riding
